Miss School Miss Out

I saw this advert on a bus stop on the Antrim Road Belfast and I agree very strongly with this view. This advert appeared in February 2020 before the outbreak of the virus.

Good attendance at school is really important to the development of children. I am concerned that vulnerable children will suffer as a result of their schools being closed during the pandemic.

Erin Richards a National education reporter from USA Today wrote that 'Some experts see younger children poised to bounce back better than adolescents and teens, who are going to face the same stress.  But in general, children's resilience is inherently tied to the stability and safety of their families'.
