Belfast Photo Festival 2019: Icons by Cortis and Sonderegger
Cortis and
Sonderegger’s on going project is called ‘Icons,’
where they play seductively with iconic images from international photographic
history and reproduce them as three dimensional models that are astonishingly
close to the original scene.

Jojakim Cortis and Adrian Sonderegger presented themselves with a challenge: to
recreate some of the world’s most iconic images in their studio. In a bit of
self-deprecating irony, they decided to start with the world’s most expensive photograph
