Full Leisurely we Glide; Belfast's New Glider Rapid Transit System
'All in the golden
afternoon
Full leisurely we glide'
Recently I travelled on the new Glider Bus from Wellington Place to Titanic Quarter.
The quote above is taken from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, an 1865 novel written by Lewis
Carroll, where the heroine Alice tumbles down a rabbit hole and encounters a fantasy world of talking animals including, the Cheshire
Cat, The Duchess, The Caterpillar, The
Mad Hatter, The March Hare, The Dormouse, The
Gryphon and the The Mock Turtle.
Well I did not exactly fall down a rabbit hole, but I did feel it was a magical journey as these images suggest.
